Percy moved to Wildwood Florida after her husbands retirement in 1971. Before that they lived in Saginaw Michigan. After her husband passed in 1983 she remained in Wildwood until the early 90's when she moved to California to be close to her daughter Pat. She lived there until her passing, and her daughter sent her back to Michigan where she was laid to rest next to her father.
She has a headstone and a plot in Adamsville Cemetery in Sumter County Florida beside her husband, but she was not buried there.
