Viola R. Elmer, age 86, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, in a Madison
hospital.
She was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Mount Horeb, the daughter of Martin and Rose (Adler) Keller. On Oct. 18, 1943, Viola was united in marriage with Delbert Elmer in Mount Horeb.
In addition to her husband, Delbert, survivors include, Richard (Barb) Elmer, Darlene (Tom) Phillips, Ken Elmer and Debe (Mark) Henry. They are also blessed with l0 grandchildren and nine and a half great-grandchildren. Viola was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Florence and twin sister, Vera.
Services will be held at 11 am Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH 550 Lincoln Drive with the Rev. Dr. David J. Berggren officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME and again at the church one hour prior to service on Thursday.
Mom: What an example you have set for us to follow. We love you and will miss you.
