Jim was born in rural Sharp County on Jan. 12, 1941, to the late Edward and Florence Ratliff Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Fuller Baker of the home; sons, Brian Alan Baker of El Dorado and Randle Herman (Lacy) Baker of Jonesboro; daughter, Marie "Rie" (Russ) Koeneman of Springfield, Mo.; grandsons, Joshua Alan Baker of Camp Pendleton, Calif., William F. Koeneman and Alex Koeneman of Springfield, Mo.; granddaughters, Laura Baker (Zech) Reed of Oklahoma City, Kennedy Grace Baker and Collins Cash Baker of Jonesboro; brothers, Bill (Linda) Baker of Jonesboro and Bob (Vickie) Baker of Jonesboro; and sister, Melva (Tom) Rie of Highland.
Funeral services were held in Wortham Oak Hill Chapel. Interment was in Baker Cemetery.
