OBITUARY :
WAYNEBORO'S OLDEST WOMAN DIES TODAY - Mrs. Anna Oller's Death Occurred at Her Home on North Church Street.
MRS. ANNA (HOLLINGER) OLLER died this morning at 6 o'clock, at her home, 33 North Church street, from general debility, aged 91 years, 6 months and 3 days. She was probably the oldest resident of this community.
Mrs. Oller had been in failing health for more than a year but never was confined to her bed for any length of time.
Monday last, her condition became serious and she rapidly declined. Mrs. Anna Oller was born at Roadside, November 21, 1824, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hollinger. She lived in that vicinity until 80 years ago, when she moved to Waynesboro, where she resided until her death.
December 16, 1847, she was married to John S. Oller, who lived on the farm adjoining the Hollinger homestead. She survived him nearly 14 years.
Mrs. Oller was a member of the Brethren in Christ church.
She had many friends who admired her for her many good works and her kindness of heart.
Surviving are the following children, Miss Rebecca Oller, at home; Mrs. Mary Harbaugh, 29 North Church street; Harry B. Oller, Roadside, and E. J. Oller, 56 East Main street.
Surviving, also, are one half-brother, Lewis Hollinger, South Grant street, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Oller was a sister of the late Daniel Hollinger, Roadside.
Funeral services, Saturday, leaving the house at 9.30 a.m., for the Church of the Brethren, where services will be held at 10 o'clock. Interment in Prices graveyard.
