CARTHAGE - Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Eaves, 65, of Galloway will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike officiating. Burial will be in Adams Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Mr. Eaves died Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, in Shreveport, La. He was born Sept. 26, 1945, in Houston to Johnny Jewel and Nettie Mae Emmons Eaves. Mr. Eaves served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a construction superintendent for over 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Pat Barnett Eaves of Galloway; sons, Craig Eaves of Huntsville and Shaun Eaves of Allen; daughter, Heather Mason of Commerce; brothers, J.R. Eaves, Robert Eaves of Martinsburg, W.V., and Arthur Beasley of Austin; sister, Yvonne Woods of Tomball; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Serving as pallbearers will be the Joaquin Masonic Lodge # 856. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
