Lucile Bartlett Stevens, age 94, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2001 in Salt Lake City, UT of causes incident to age.

Lucile was born June 13, 1907 in Provo, UT to Ashley and Winnie Lydia Billings Bartlett. On June 12, 1930, she married Clay E. Stevens in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Lucile was an active member of the LDS church and served in various callings including Relief Society and Primary president. She was also a member of the D.U.P. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting afghans for family and friends. Despite overwhelming challenges in her life, she was a great example of enduring to the end.

Lucile is survived by six children, Janet (Boyd) Keller, Betty (Frank) Longson, Salt Lake City, UT, Carolyn (Bill) Hill, Mendon, UT, Linda (Paul) Fitt, Murray, UT, Paul (Karen) Stevens, Centerville, UT, Roger Stevens, Florence, AL. Preceded in death by her husband; and one granddaughter, Julie Longson.

Services will be Tues. Oct 30, 2001, noon, Belvedere LDS Ward chapel, 607 E. Downington Ave. (1830 S), where friends may call Tues. 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your local Food Bank. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens. Funeral Directors: Holbrook Mortuary.
