The funeral for Ted Babski, 70. 314 Central Ave., will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel, 5th and Oak. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
He was found dead at his home Wednesday.
Conrad Yumang, Leavenworth County coroner, said he had been dead from one to three days.
An autopsy is being performed to determine cause of death.
Mr. Babski was born at Leavenworth Sept. 24, 1904 the on of John and Mary Potorski Babski.
He attended local public schools and later special courses at the University of Kansas as operator of the Leavenworth sewage treatment plant. He also worked 13 years with the Textor Sign Co. and 22 years at Great Western Manufacturing Company.
He was married in 1930 at Olathe to Margaret Young. She died in 1970. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Mary Woodward. 1011 Kickapoo; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Dooley, Lansing, Mrs. Elizabeth Peet, Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Mary Allen, Toledo, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
