EATONTON - James (Smitty) Bonnett, 78, passed June 28, 2003. Services will be 11A.M., Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at First Baptist Church with burial at 3P.M. Tuesday at Hill Crest Memorial, Augusta.
A member of First Baptist Church, he was a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. Survivors include wife, Mrs. Ruth Bonnett of Eatonton; daughters: Wendy Bonnett of Naples, FL and Cookie Bonnett of Nashville, TN; one sister, Hazel Johnson of Augusta; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elevator Fund at First Baptist Church.
