After his death she married Henry Loal Hobbs. She moved to Missouri to be with her daughter after the death of Loal and had lived there for the past eleven years. She was a resident of Belk until the move to Missouri.
Helen served as Post Master in the Belk Post Office for thirty years. She was a member of the Belk Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husbands; John D. Taylor and Henry Loal Hobbs; brothers, Dewey Crowe and Rev. Joe Jack Crowe; sister, Ruth Crowe Maddox.
She is survived by one daughter; one sister; three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
