Jack Quentin Stephensen, age 72, passed away at home June 16, 1995.

Born February 7, 1923 in Riverton, Utah to Stephen T. and Hazel Giles Stephensen. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Elder in the LDS Church, and retired from Kennecott Copper.

Jack had many skills and abilities. He was able to repair and build about anything. He married Laura Bess June 4, 1957.

Survived by wife and children and their spouses: Bret J. (Jackie), Sharon (Gary), Sharleen (Glen), Jackie (Don), Jeffrey (Laura), 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother, Max, sisters, Beverly, Colleen, and Karma, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, son, Scott, brothers, Mont, Carol, Carlyle, Mark, and Ladd.

Funeral services, Tuesday, 12 noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 East.
