Jim was adopted. After extensive research over a period of 16 years ... this is what he has found:
Jim's adoptive parents are Mom and Dad.
Jim's first mother was Aldene, who is his birth mother. Jim hasn't yet figured out who his birth father is. Before his birth in 1961, his mom had gotten married to her sweetheart, Jerry ... who came home from being overseas - just so Jim would have a father when he was born. So, technically - Jerry was the male in "the role of father" at the time of Jim's birth ... but has stated he is not Jim's birth father.
Jim is still researching on who his birth father is ... He hasn't given up on finding his entire birth family ... and figuring out who everyone is.
When Jim's mom passed away in January, 1972 ... his Dad remarried to another woman in December, 1972 - whose husband, Charles had passed away 2 years earlier.
When Jim was growing up, he used to go play at his neighbor's house, Francis Thomas' house.
Jim spent 3 years at Leon High School in Tallahassee, FL. He graduated in 1980 from St Pete High in 1980.
