"Jane Ann Hoffman, 83, of Blawnox and Sharpsburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Kittanning Care Center. She was born Aug. 7, 1930, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Raymond L. Schmitt and Agnes Fasbach [sic]. A homemaker, she was a member of Sharpsburg Family worship Center. Survivors include her four children, David L. (Denise) Hoffman, of Sharpsburg, Gary R. Hoffman, of Pittsburgh, Janie (Efrain) Baeza, of California, and Greg W. Hoffman, of Pittsburgh; 10 grandchildren, David, Daniel, Brittany, Ryan, Luke, Felicity, Mariah, Greg (Danielle), Maggie and Christy; and three great-grandsons, Dante, Logan and Austin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Hoffman; son, Mark Hoffman; brother, Raymond Schmitt Jr.; and sister, Eleanor Krosel.

"There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Kyper Funeral Home,, 2702 Mr. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Memorial Family and friends are invited to a memorial service as 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. At Sharpsburg Family Worship Center, Eight and Clay streets, Sharpsburg with pastor Russell Horne. Private internment in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw."

Wife of Louis R. Hoffman. Jane and Louis had six children (five boys and one girl). Their first child, a boy, was still-born in 1954. Jane and Louis divorced sometime after 1973.
