Rick E. Bidlack, 60, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

He was born on May 9, 1953, to Olan and Oleta (Enders) Bidlack in Defiance. Rick was a graduate of Oakwood High School class of 1971. He was self-employed and enjoyed motorcycles, hunting and firearms. Rick was a member of Defiance FOE 372.

Rick is survived by siblings, David (Sharon) Bidlack of Cecil, Cindy L. (Charles "Bud") Hubert of Oakwood, Stephanie Cox of Deltona, Fla., Ronald (Yvonne) Bidlack of Van Wert, Pam (Jerry) Bronner of Deltona, Fla., Terry (Karen) Bidlack of Oakwood, and Kathy (Bill) Rippetoe of Continental; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Randy and Michael Bidlack in infancy.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2014, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. George Alley officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, American Diabetes Association and the Wounded Warriors Project. Online condolences can be given at www.Schafferfh.com.
