Albert Leo Cozad, 59, died at 10:30 pm Tuesday while at work at No. 1 plant of Joy Manufacturing Co. He was born in Sandycreek Township Oct. 24, 1893, son of Mark A. and Margaret Leland Cozad.

He was rushed to the Franklin Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He lived in the Franklin area his entire life, was road supervisor in Sandycreek Township for 18 years, and worked as a mechanic in the structural department of the Joy for the past 12 years.

He married Mabel Weaver 23 years ago, and she survives, with his mother; 12 children, Mrs. Barbara Jane Huntsberger of Erie, albert L., George R. Donald K., Judith Ann, Philip D., Michael T. Christine M., William C., Rose Mary, Braden A., Karen E. all at home, Franklin RD 1; two grandchildren, Randall S. and Rita K. Huntsberger of Erie; three brothers, Charles H., Franklin RD 1, Raymond D., Providence, RI, and William K., Port Arthur, TX; and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Williams, New Castle.

Services will be at 2 pm Friday at Buchanan Funeral Home with Rev. William Rodahaver, pastor of Congress Hill Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Graham Cemetery.
