OLMITZ - John A. Lichter, 87, died.
Feb. 3, 1982, at Hoisington Hospital.
Born May 10, 1894, at Olmitz, he married
Lillian J. Mauler Aug. 10, 1920, at
Hoisington. She died Dec. 5, 1981. He
was a farmer and was a lifetime resident
of the Olmitz area.
He was a member of St. Anne's
Catholic Church, charter member of
Knights of Columbus, Olmitz Senior
Citizens, all of Olmitz.
Survivors: sons, Marvin, Centralia,
III.; Henry, of the home; Alvin, Olmitz;
daughters, Rosemary Linn, Albert;
Mary Evelyn Linenberger. Great Bend;
brother, Henry P., Olmitz; 22 grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren.
Parish rosary will be at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday followed by Knights of Columbus
rosary at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral
Home, Hoisington. Funeral will
be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church;
Father Ultan Murphy, Father William
Vogel, Father Fred Tuzicka and Father
John Vesecky. Burial at St. Anne's
Cemetery, Olmitz. Memorial may be sent to the church.
