Mrs. Hazel Latham, age 90, of Turnersville, died Saturday, June 12, 2004, in a Gatesville nursing home.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2004, at Turnersville Cemetery with the Rev. David
Diggs officiating.
Mrs. Latham was born March 22, 1914, to the late William and Eliza Brim Huskerson in Turnersville, Texas. She grew up in the Turnersville community and graduated from Turnersville High School. She married Johnny Robert Latham on November 16, 1930. The couple farmed and ranched in the Turnersville community the majority of their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband on February 14, 1980. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children, J.R. and wife Nina Latham of Gatesville and Oscar Latham of San Angelo; one sister, Lucille Hamilton of Gatesville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and special friend,Robert Murray of Turnersville.
