A native of Illinois, she lived 20 years in Lodi after living in Michigan and Pomona. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the English Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by five sons, George Warren Day of Illinois, Kenneth Edgar Day of Lodi, John Paul Day of Michigan, Robert Day and Philip Alan Day of Lodi; two daughters, Dorothy Marie Kalisch of San Diego, and June Elizabeth Edwards of Washington; many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Harry Day; one daughter, Ruth Evelyn Stone; brother, Alan Tapscott; two sisters, Ethel Baptist and Jennie Tapscott.
Services will be held at 1PM Tuesday at Lodi Funeral Home. Elder Charles G Edwards of the Wenatchee Seventh-day Adventist will officiate. Committal will be at Pomona Cemetery Wednesday. Visitation will be after 9AM today.
