She was born June 4, 1924, in Monticello, Iowa, to Henry and Meta Gardes.
Married on Valentine's Day 1947 to Max "Doc" Denning, she was a wonderful wife and mother to son, Mark Denning of San Clemente, Calif.; and daughters, Marsha Denning and Melody Denning-Harmon, both of Klamath Falls. She also leaves grandson, Richard Hollingsworth of Klamath Falls; granddaughter, Alexandra Denning of San Clemente; and great-grandson, Max H. Hollingsworth of Klamath Falls.
Maxine was a beautiful lady, kind and caring with a great sense of humor, and loved by all who knew her.
