Virginia Jane "Jennie" Boyd first married Elisha Groves 19 Sep 1820 in Nicholas Co.,KY. Witnesses:Elijah Hurd and Elisha Boyd.10 days after she got married she was 14 years of age. Possibly she was a widow when she married Isaac Callahan.Isaac's marriage to Jane/Jennie was therefor one of first cousins since their mothers were sisters. Per copy of Nicholas Co.,KY marriage license to Isaac Callahan, her father signed as she was 18 years of age.This was her second marriage, prior marriage she was only 13 yrs ll ms 10 ds old.
