STOCKBRIDGE --- Services for William H. "Bill" Darity will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Ward's Fairview Chapel with burial in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Darity, 79, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001. An Army veteran of World War II, he was retired from Colonial Bakery after 40 years. He was a member of Ole Country Church.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche Landers Darity; children Mike Darity of Stockbridge and Shirley Sikes of Pleasanton, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
