Woodrow Wilson Divers, 83, of Hardy, passed away Sunday, January 12, 1997, at his residence. He was a retired, self-employed truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Goldie Hypes Divers; one son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and Deborah S. Divers of Hardy; one grandson, Anthony Wayne Divers; one brother, Lewis Edgar Divers of Bedford, and one sister, Minnie Odessa DeBusk of Roanoke. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 1997, from the Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton. The Rev. Carter L. Sloan will officiate. Friends may call at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
