Eleanor's parents are Lemuel and Mary (Samson) Bradford.

She is the direct descendant of Mayflower Pilgrims William Bradford, Richard Warren, Myles Standish, John Alden and Henry Samson.

Eleanor's name is mentioned in this article called:
- Plymouth memories of an octogenarian By William Thomas Davis

She and her husband are mentioned in the following books:
- Records of William Spooner, of Plymouth, Mass., and His Descendants, Volume 1 By Thomas Spooner

- The Faunce family history and genealogy: the ancestry and descendants of John Faunce of Purleigh, Essex, England and Plymouth, Massachusetts - in this book it states that Eleanor and Solomon are buried at the Burial Hill cemetery in Plymouth, MA.

- Harlow family: descendants of Sgt. William Harlow (1624/5-1691) of Plymouth, Massachusetts

Another document proving she is buried at Burial Hill is attached - it is the Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988 for Eleanor Faunce and as you can see to the right it is documented that she is buried at Burial Hill.

I have a picture of the stone from a trip to Plymouth and will add it shortly.

There are numerous books that have been written about the Bradford Side - too many to mention. There are three books that are worth having in your library and they are called:

- The Mayflower Families #22 William Bradford (also called the Silver Book from the GSMD) that is documented from William Bradford to Eleanor.
- Plymouth's Faithful Pilgrim
- Of Plymouth Plantation 1620 to 1647 by William Bradford himself

More info to come....
