Timothy C. "Tim" Bendorf, 34, of Trenton, Ill., born Dec. 18, 1959, in Highland, Ill., died at Scott Air Force Base Medical Center.
He was employed by Monterey Coal #2 in Albers, Ill.; a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Trenton, Ill,; and United Mine Workers of America Local 2295 District 12.
He was preceded in deth by his father, Clifford "Tip" Bendorf; and a brother, Brian Bendorf.
Surviving are two sons, Michael and Geoffrey Bendorf, and a daughter, Brandy Bendorf, all of Carlinville, Ill.; his mother, Genevieve "Genny", nee Zeisset, Bendorf, of Trenton, Ill.; a sister, Sheryl (Otis) Dorman of Trenton, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, Ill., with the Rev. Robert Flannery officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 1994, and from 8 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton, Ill.
A church vigil will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 1994, at the Moss Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church and will be received at the funeral home.
