Services for Myrna Wright, 74, of Tyler, will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Trammel officiating.
Burial will follow at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wright passed away January 24, 2014 in Tyler. She was born July 8, 1939 in Grapeland to Melvin Coy and Ruth Ester Dickey Adams.
Myrna graduated from Springtown High School in 1957 and moved to Tyler the same year where she met the love of her life, C.D. Wright. They married August 3, 1958. Myrna worked as the warranty administrator at Classic Toyota until her retirement in 2004. She loved reading and watching baseball and spoiling her dog "Stormey".
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 55 years, C.D. Wright of Tyler; children, Shari Wright of Tyler and Steve Wright and wife Kathy of Bullard; sister, Laverne Emmons of Tyler; brother-in-law, Barney Wright and wife Eva of Malakoff; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chad Sherman, Charles Curry, Juan Ortiz, Blake Graham and Ronnie Vandirver.
Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
