Edgar A. Beasley, 74, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Baptist Health.He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Hugh Harris Lodge No. 938 F&AM and a Marine veteran.He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Mildred Beasley, and by "the beloved son he-never-had," Greg Tompkins.Survivors include his devoted wife of 53 years, Sue Beasley, of Corbin; two daughters, Michele (Dwayne) Robertson, of Corbin; Alicia Beasley, of London; two grandchildren, Krystal Rose, of Corbin and Brandi (Cass) Brown, of Germany; two great-granddaughters, Trinity Rose, of Corbin and Mackenzie Brown, of Germany; and his extended family, Mike and Luane Tompkins, of Corbin. Also, he leaves behind many friends and acquaintances, all to mourn his passing.A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Cumberland Memorial Gardens with members of the Hugh Harris Lodge No. 938 F&AM and Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating
