David Thomas Bius, 45, of Moultrie, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in Worth County from injuries received in an automobile accident.


Born Jan. 28, 1968, in Live Oak, Fla., he was the son of the late John Hubert Bius Sr and Sarah Elizabeth Ivey Bius. He was a supervisor with the Georgia Federal State Inspection Service.

Survivors include a daughter, Brooke Ivey Bius (mother Rebekah Newsome) two sons, Justin Cade Johnson and Parker Reid Johnson all of Moultrie; one grandchild, Karson Noah Johnson; one brother, Tim Bius and wife Misty of Kansas; two sisters, Cindy Bius Appleman and husband Glenn of Middleburg, Fla., and Joanna Bius Grice and husband Mark of Crestview, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother John Hubert Bius Jr. David was laid to rest on his 46th birthday.

David loved to ride motorcycles and spend time in the outdoors. He loved life and everything that came with it and never had a regret. He lived his life with love and joy each and every day.
