BEEBE- COMPTON, Sherry Lee 74 Years of Life The sun was shining on January 20th, 2014 when our wife, mother, grand- mother and great-grand- mother, Sherry Lee Compton (Monroe, Baker, and Beebe) went back into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. Sherry was born on November 2nd, 1939 to John Wesley Monroe and Doris Palmer Dean in Klamath Falls Oregon. Sherry lost her mother to breast cancer at two years old, so she was raised by her grandmother in Louisiana while her father was away at war. She later moved to Salt Lake City where she joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She graduated from South High in Utah and attended BYU for a short time until she met her first husband, together they had six children. In 1974, she married again and gained seven stepchildren. They were married for 26 years. After her husband passed away, she was blessed to have reconnected with an old friend who then became her third husband and she gained three more step children. Mom was always excited to hear that a new baby was coming to the family. She has been very blessed with 37 grand- children and 28 great-grandchildren. Sherry moved to Spokane in 1977. She was active in her boys' scouting activities, the girls' Blue Bird and 4H Club. She worked as a Home Health Aide in Spokane for the better part of 30 years. She worked for Upjohn, Kelly Home Health, and Family Home Care. She truly loved her patients, and she taught her daughters what a joy it is to care for someone else. Funeral Services honoring Mrs. Beebe-Compton will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 27th, 2014 at the Riverside Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Chattaroy, Washington, with Bishop James Palmer, Jr. conducting. Interment will be at the Loon Lake Cemetery in Loon Lake. Visitation and viewing will be at 9:00 A.M. Monday at the Church. LAUER FUNERAL HOME in Deer Park, Washington.
