IRENE N. LAIPPLY, 77, of Mansfield died suddenly Thursday June 9, 2005 from complication of a car accident.

She was born June 12, 1927 in Kentucky to Charles & Amanda McFarland Reynolds. Irene had retired from Hartman Electric and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Irene loved life and enjoyed spending time with her husband of 58 years. She also cherished the time spent with loving family, and her Bingo and Mid Ohio Heart friends.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda & Bill Johnson of Maryville, Tennessee, Sandy Thompson of Mansfield, Sherry & Dan Richardson of Crossville, Tennessee; one sister, Ruth Bowling of Indianapolis, Indiana; five grandchildren and spouses, Kim & George Barley, Brent & Kim Johnson, Kelly & Jim Nightingale and Brandon Houston and Bryan Houston; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her special Bingo friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; thirteen brothers & sisters and son-in-law, Ronald Thompson.

Friends may call at the Ontario home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Monday June 13, 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor David Reed. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Trinity United Methodist Church.
