By some unaccountable manner, the "copy" for a notice of the death of Mr. T. M. Goodknight was misplaced and no mention of the occurrence made by us. Mr. Goodknight was for some time connected with the Lincoln Democrat, and was one of the most widely-known men in central Kentucky. He was a Christian gentleman and enjoyed the friendship of all who knew him. Although his death occurred some three weeks ago, we want to say that in his taking off, the community loses a good citizen and the wife a devoted and noble husband. The Record regrets the misplacing of the notice, but such things will happen.
