John Zephaniah Woodall was born Tuesday, October 30, 1855 in Morgan County, Alabama, to Robert T. Woodall and Susan Caroline Long Woodall.

Funeral rites will be held at Johnson Chapel near Danville at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon for John Z Woodall, 80, who died suddenly at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at his home 1214 Third Avenue, south. The Rev. Ira F. Hawkins, pastor of Central Methodist church will conduct services while Priest of Decatur will be in charge of burial.


Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary Woodall; four sons, Fred and Ernest Woodall of Lawrence county; Willie Woodall of Lakeland Fl.. and Noble Woodall of Decatur; four daughters; Mrs. Bertha Vinson of Somerville, Route 3; Miss Ressie Woodall of Decatur, Mrs. Fairy Morgan, Trinity Route 1 and Mrs. Lola Holliday of Fouke, Ar.


Pallbearers will be three sons, Fred, Ernest and Noble Woodall; two grandsons, George and Sherman Woodall and Mack King.
