Rosalind "Rose" M. Reed, 88, passed away Sunday, January 04, 2009 at her home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Rose worked for GE and the Candy Store downtown.
Survivors include sons, Dr. Richard (Kathy) Reed of Terre Haute; daughter, Barbara (Dan) Mabee of St. Petersburg, FL; brothers, Thomas Biesiada, and Carl Biesiada both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kim (Scott) Caudill of New Haven, Jim (Julie) Coughlin of Cincinnati, OH, Scott (Julie) Reed of St. Petersburg, FL, and Sara Reed of Terre Haute; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph w. Reed in 1999; brother, Norman Biesiada; and sister, Dorothy Harrington.
Mass of Christian Burial is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church, E. State Blvd. at Randallia Drive with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with Vigil at 4 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Catholic Church.
