Leonard Warren, 80, of Milano, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2014, at the funeral home. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Homer Cemetery near Milano, TX.
Leonard Ray was born in Rockdale, Texas, to the late Ivy Warren and Winnie (Hooks) Warren. He married Wanda Beth Cooper on August 6, 1960, in Oklahoma. He worked at Alcoa as a mines operator for 25 years. He was a member of IBEW, VFW, loved fishing, and traveling to Shreveport to gamble.
Leonard is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Warren; sisters, Wanda Tousek and Faye Stowe; brother, James Warren; and grandson, Seth Johnson.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Nolen, of Port Lavaca, TX; sons, Paul Johnson and wife, Donna, of League City, TX, Brent Miller and wife, Melissa, of Rockdale, TX, and Howie Warren and wife, Lisa, of Alvin, TX; grandchildren: Clint Nolen, Jason Nolen, Kalissa Nolen, Ryne Nolen, Jennifer Hall, Breanna Miller, Bethany Miller, Chase Warren and Cameron Warren; great-grandchildren: Jaxon Nolen, Kyler Nolen, Kaylie Nolen, Reese Nolen, Landry Nolen, Addison Nolen, Braelyn Johnson, Landon Hall, Keaton Hall, and Branson Hall; sister, Pat Montey; other relatives and many friends.
