Oleta Mae Mathews Boaldin, 59, of Duke, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Oleta was born June 16, 1939, in Redland to Alene and Jim Mathews.

She married A.C. Boaldin Jr. on April 13, 1959, in Vernon, Texas. She was a loving mother and homemaker.

Survivors include her mother, Alene Mathews of Idabel; two daughters, Robie McNairy and husband Bill of Denton, Texas, and Donna Jones of Sanger, Texas; two sons, Ernie Boaldin and wife Miconna of San Antonio, Texas, and Albert Boaldin and wife Patti of Jenks; and 11 grandchildren.

Her brothers and sisters are Melva McCutcheon of Idabel, Paul Mathews of Gladewater, Texas, Polly Moore of Broken Bow, Ann Smith of Scooba, Miss., Joan Ferguson and Rex Mathews, both of Idabel, Gena Barnett and Tom Mathews, both of Longview, Texas, and a loving companion, Loran Martin of Duke.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Mathews; her husband, A.C. Boaldin; and one sister, Linda Walker.

A memorial service was Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church with T.J. Willingham officiating.
