Adeline Moul, 95, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Southridge Healthcare Center, Sioux Falls.

Her memorial service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, January 4 at George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, with burial of the urn at Woodlawn Cemetery..

Memorial visitation begins at 5:00 PM Friday, January 3 at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Adeline G. Peterson, daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Shelstad) Peterson, was born August 8, 1918 in Toronto, SD. She grew up in the Toronto-Estelline, SD area and graduated from Estelline High School in 1936.

Adeline was united in marriage with Richard Moul on April 23, 1938 in Milbank, SD. The couple lived in Estelline before moving to California in the late 1940's. Shortly after they returned to Estelline and then to Sioux Falls, SD. They also lived in Adrian, MN for a time and owned a restaurant there. They returned to Sioux Falls and owned "Club Molette", a nightclub. Adeline played in an organ and drum combo called "Ordrums" with her daughter, Sondra, for several years.

Adeline and Richard moved to Rogers, AR where they bought an auto parts store. Adeline also played organ at the Bella Vista Country Club for 12 years. They returned to Sioux Falls in 1993.

Adeline was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Moose Lodge and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Sondra Timmer and her husband, Ron, Sioux Falls, SD; four grandchildren, Scott Timmer and his wife, Laurie, Sioux Falls, SD, Sherri Alvey and her husband, Jeff, Sioux Falls, SD, Sindy Wiertzema and her husband, Scott, Brandon, SD, Charlie Timmer and his wife, Cindy, Sioux Falls, SD; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Adeline was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, on July 2, 1995; a great-grandson, Paul Jackson; her parents; five sisters, Lillian Bruflat, Ramona Sandland, Lorraine Beekman, Alice Anderson, Marie Fjerstad; and two brothers, Howard Peterson and Merle Peterson.
