Correction to my correction. Marilla Bass is the older half-sister (not their aunt) to Gladys and Homer Barker, children of Mary McElroy.

Could you add in the bio that her death date of 1937 on her stone is incorrect. She died Dec 24, 1936 in the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City according to her death certificate.
