Talented Vaudevillian was hired by Mack Sennett and worked with Mabel Normand intil a year a later he became bigger than Chaplin when he came into Keystone studio. When his career began to go down hill Chaplin saved him in 1921 and he later appeared in his masterpiece "The Gold Rush" (1925) after he went on to appear in many film productions. In 1932 he won a academy award nominee for the best short "Stout Hearts and Willing Hands" He retired from there onwards and died in 1935.Actor.
