Alvin Kendrick Bytheway, 82, passed away July 30, 1994 in Salt Lake City.

Born August 25, 1911 in Salt Lake to Benjamin and Sarah Kendrick Bytheway. Alvin was the last of 15 children. Married Doris Deon Brimhall September 21, 1933. She died October 13, 1971. Member of the LDS Church.

He was a driver for Salt Lake City bus lines for many years and for P.I.E. truck lines. He retired from TESCO.

Survived by daughter, Marilyn (Martin) Seifert, Bountiful, Utah; sons, Ray (Carol) Bytheway, Camarillo, Calif.; David (Dorthy) Bytheway, West Bountiful, Utah; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Maureen Kay Siefert.

Funeral services to be held Wednesday, August 3, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the McKinley Ward Chapel, 1863 South West Temple. Viewing will be Tuesday, August 2, 1994 at Colonial Mortuary, 2128 South State Street, from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the ward chapel. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah. Funeral directors, Colonial Memorial Mortuary.
