Mrs. Mamie Frances Calhoun, 89, died at 4:45am today at her home, Rt. 3, Cadiz. She had been in ill health for a long time, but death was unexpected.
Services will be at 2pm Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Guess officiating, and burial will be in East End Cemetery.
Mrs. Calhoun was a retired schoolteacher, having taught in elementary schools in Trigg County for 30 years. She was a member of South Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tandy C. Calhoun; two sons, Glenwood of Trigg County and Robert L. Calhoun, Hopkinsville; three daughters, Mrs. Ora Mae Thomas and Mrs. Georgie Rose, both of Hopkinsville, and Mrs. Nell Fort, Cadiz; a sister, Mrs. Ora Calhoun, Trigg County; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
