Mrs. Meeks was a native of Tennille, GA and was a very active member in the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. She was a volunteer at Gwinnett Medical Center for 17 years, a long time member of the Lawrenceville Garden Club, and had taught Home Economics for five years in Metter, Georgia.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter and one son, several brothers, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville with burial at 6:30 pm on Sunday in the Zeta Cemtery in Tennille, GA. Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, Lawrenceville, in charge of arrangements.
