His birth year is an estimate from immigration records.
Almost all of his records in the US are under the Krenke spelling including marriage, naturalization and death; apparently the family changed the spelling to Crinkey sometime after his death.
He is the son of Karl and Anna.
Husband of Sophia C. (Myers) Crinkey of VA(WV), whom he had married in 1880.
Father of Amelia (Crinkey) Arnold and Bertha "Birtie" Maria (Crinkey) Monahan (1879-1961).
Grandfather of Harold Joseph Monahan (1905-1998).He died near Wheeling.

The following is what I had placed onto the memorial for his wife, Sophia, I place it below because it turns out that I accidentally made a duplicate memorial for her and I swear I do not remember there being a memorial for her ALREADY IN THAT CEMETERY when I created it (maybe it was spelled wrong or maybe it was actually in the wrong cementery BUT) so as not to lose the information that I had complied about her, I place it here instead:
She was born in Wheeling when it was still part of VA ((So she was born in WHEELING, VA not Wheeling, WV.))
She was the daughter of Phillip and Malvina Myers.
Widow of Wilhelm "William" H. Krenke of Prussian (later known as Germany) controlled Poland, whom she had married in 1880.
Spelling of Krenke, which is the spelling used when she married him, was later changed to Crinkey.
Mother of Amelia (Crinkey) Arnold and Bertha "Birtie" Maria (Crinkey) Monahan (1879-1961).
Grandmother of Harold Joseph Monahan (1905-1998).
