William F. Peltier, 47, former Port Hudson resident, died today in Veterans Hospital, Phoenix, Ariz., after a long illness.
A veteran of World War II, he moved to Phoenix for his health 16 years ago.
He was a prisoner of war in Germany during World War II for two years and four days.
He is survived by his widow, Georgene; a son, Larry, 8; five sisters, Mrs. Delbert Andrews, Mrs. Cecil Mitchell, Mrs. Charles Andrews, and Mrs. Jack Wilson, all of Port Huron, and Mrs. Charles Watkins, Miami, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in Phoenix.
The remains will be cremated.
