Services for Miss Ethel Augusta Bacon, 91 of Augusta, who died Wednesday (May 8, 1974) in a nursing home in Jacksonville, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Pulaski Cemetery. The Rev. John Wilkey will officiate. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cookson's and Sons Funeral Home.
Miss Bacon was born in Schuyler County, March 5, 1883, a daughter of William and Mary Ellen Gould Bacon. She was a night telephone operator in Augusta for 15 years and served as librarian until she retired in 1959. She was the last of her family.
