Funeral services for Emma P. Burow, 86 of 310 Leslie Dr., were held Feb. 10 in Grimes-Plummer Funeral Chapels with Pastor David Lilley officiating.
Interment was in Garden of Memories. She passed away Feb. 8 in Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1896, in Fredericksburg and was a member of the Lutheran Church, the VFW I, and the Kerr County Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Burow, who passed away Dec. 7,1963. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Ray Burow of Kerrville and Raymond Willie Burow of San Antonio; four daughters, Vera Smith of Ingram, Josephine Edson of Comfort, Irene Dorothy Ottmers of San Antonio and Florine Carraway of Summit, Miss.; two sisters, Minnie Knopp of Fredericksburg and Louise Marshall of Caldwell; three brothers, Fritz Pieper of Kerrville, Gus Pieper of San Antonio and Herman Pieper of Orange, Calif.; 27 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
