Mrs. Betty Sue Sindorf Maddox, age 54, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Maddox was born on December 15, 1956 in Griffin, Georgia to the late Billy Sindorf and Jeanette Chadwick Sindorf. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Father-in-law, George Allison Maddox, Sr. Mrs. Maddox was employed by The Hon Company in Cedartown. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Cedartown serving in the Acts of Kindness Group and was an active member of Ladies I Sunday School Class.

Surviving are her husband of 37 years John Calvin Maddox, Sr., son, John Calvin Maddox, Jr., daughter and son-in-law, Kristin Lynn Beck and William Shane Beck and one grandson, William Maddox Beck and one mother-in-law Betty Faye Maddox all of Cedartown.

Also surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Charles Trippe, Brenda and Tony Elicker, brother and sister-in-law William and Sara Sindorf of Cedartown and sister and brother-in-law Rena and Gary Shaffer of Denham Springs, LA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George Maddox, Jr. and Sharon Maddox of Cedartown. A number of neices and nephews also survive.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted at Polk Memory Gardens on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 am with the Reverend Patrick Latham and Reverend Jason Loudermilk officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Second Baptist Church of Cedartown.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Second Baptist Church of Cedartown in her memory.
