Services for Clarence Lee Mogford, 82, of Orange, formerly of Kerrville, who died Tuesday in Orange, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Rev. Tom Pickering of Ingram First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.
Mr. Mogford, who had resided in Kerrville 38 years, was born in Menard. He had lived in Orange since April 1986. He married Hilda Brandt Aug. 5, 1948 in Kerrville. She survives.
He had retired as a cook at Kerrville VA Medical Center, and belonged to Woodmen of the World.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Malone of Orange: two sons, Eugene Taylor of Orange, and Neal Taylor of Carthage: a sister, Mrs. Bessie Lumpkins of San Antonio: a brother Fred Mogford of San Antonio: 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
