Larry Rex Stevens, 18-month old son of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Stevens of Mecca, died Tuesday afternoon at the Riley Hospital, Indianapolis where he was taken a few hours earlier. The baby died of burns sustained when he fell into a tub of boiling water yesterday morning.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Christian church in Mecca. Burial will be in the Hixon Cemetery there.
Mrs. Stevens was formerly Miss Leona Cox and is well known in the Mecca vicinity.
