Mrs Marion Miller LaBourdette, 71, of 95 Indian Ave., Newport, R.I., formally of Syracuse and Skaneateles, died July 28th at home. The daughter of Nathan L. Miller former governor and the late Elizabeth Davern Miller she resided in the area many years. She was active in the altar and Rosary Society of St John the Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Peter L. of Skaneateles; 3 daughters, Mrs Peter A. Hopkins of Cazenovia, Mrs Thomas Garesche of Chapaqua, and Miss Minnie of Middletown, R.I.; 3 sisters, Mrs Dennis McCarthy of Skaneateles and Caramel, California, Mrs Elizabeth Adams of NYC., and Mrs Francis Carmody of Jericho, L.I.; 14 grandchildren. Services were held at St Mary's Church, Newport, L.I., the Rev Dom Andrew Jenks ofb of Portsmouth Abbey officiated. Burial was July 31 in Cortland. Contributions may be made to the Retarded Childrens Fund at the Derevaux School in Derevaux, PA.
