Services for Chancy Lee Sistrunk, 70, were at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First United Pentecostal Church of Delhi with the Revs. Lavell Hales and Homer McGaha officiating.

Burial was in Delhi Masonic Cemetery under direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.

Mr. Sistrunk died Sunday, July 11 in Richland Parish Hospital after a short illness.

He was a native of Mississippi, a retired farmer and a member of the First United Pentecostal [Church].

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Geraldine Sistrunk of Delhi; three sons, James Sistrunk of Delhi, Gayle Sistrunk of West Monroe and Randy Sistrunk of Holly Ridge; two daughters, Mrs. Delores Caston of Holly Ridge and Mrs. Penny McKeithen of Delhi; two brothers, Edward Sistrunk of Bastrop and Conley Sistrunk of Williamston, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Sammy Jarvis of Sarepta, Mrs. Ruth Bennett of Monroe; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gary Vinning, Danny Whitstine, Ralph Williams, Wayne Allen, Allen Best and Roy Junkin.
