Dɪᴇᴅ: Wednesday, May 10th, 1899, William Wardlaw of Highpoint township. Mr. Wardlaw was sick only about 60 hours and was at the time helping to do the chores when he was stricken with apoplexy, and became unconcious in which state he remained up to his death.
Deceased was an old settler of that township and a man of sterling character and highly esteemed by all who knew him. He was nearly 74 years old and stout and hardy up to about a year ago when his health began to fail. The remains were interred at the Crandall Cemetery.
