Ken was born in Jackson in 1 947, he is the son of the late Jesse Kendall Blaylock, Jr. and Wilda Waters Blaylock. He was a 1966 graduate of Pearl High School and attended Hinds Jr. College majoring in Marketing and Business, He was a United States Navy Vietnam Veteran serving our country aboard a Flagship in the Pacific Fleet.
Ken was employed as a security guard with US Securities, his post was with Armstrong World Industries since 1991. He was a longtime member of Pearl United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and assisted with the Audio/Video operations He loved the Lord and Christian music. Ken enjoyed singing, music was a very big part of his life,
He is survived by his sister Sara Blaylock Kramer and her husband Les of Mobile, Ala. , nieces and nephews, Darron and Lynn Claypool, Bryan and Wendy Claypool, Adam and Audrey Kramer, Scott and Audra Kramer and Ashley and Dan Hoey, several great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.
